Anita Imbesi is the Founder and Principal Designer of Lux Interiors & Landscape Design Co., the design studio behind ANITA • ATELIER, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the home and design industries and more than two decades devoted to creating distinctive interiors.

Her approach is deeply personal. Anita does not believe in a signature look, repeated formulas, or designing the same room twice. Every project is developed individually around the architecture of the home, its surroundings, and—most importantly—the way her clients want to live. The result is a home that feels sophisticated and beautifully considered, yet unmistakably personal.

Anita’s design perspective was shaped in part through her studies and travels throughout Europe, where exposure to extraordinary architecture, historic estates, craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless interiors helped form her appreciation for proportion, detail and enduring design.

Today, those influences are interpreted for the South Florida lifestyle through elegant, balanced spaces that feel luxurious without feeling overdone- homes designed to be as comfortable to live in as they are beautiful to experience.

Growing up in a family of builders and contractors gave Anita an understanding of construction that extends far beyond design and aesthetics.

That background allows her to communicate effectively with architects, builders, contractors and specialized trades while seeing a project as a complete environment rather than simply a collection of furnishings. From architectural details and lighting to flooring, cabinetry, materials, furnishings, window treatments, landscape and outdoor living, every element is considered as part of one cohesive vision.

Through long-standing industry relationships, Anita offers clients access to an extensive network of more than 300 vendors and resources worldwide, including exceptional furnishings, custom pieces, lighting, art, fabrics, wallcoverings, tile, stone and specialty materials.

Her established relationships with trusted trades and artisans also provide clients with a level of sourcing and execution that is difficult to replicate through retail shopping alone. Available trade savings are passed along to clients, creating value while providing access to exceptional products and resources.
